      What is cryptocurrency all about?
      General Discussion
Hi all. If you have been curious about cryptocurrency but don't know where to start, feel free to checkout my recent intro video series. I am skeptical of much of the toxicity in crypto at the moment so I am aiming to encourage the original entrepreneurial spirit. Crypto will become profitable after it proves useful to people. It's sure to be a powerful tool for the parallel movement. Let me know what you think!

Best Books You've Read In The Past 3 Years
      General Discussion
Thought I'd kick off my first thread with book recommendations. While podcasts and audio YouTube interviews are great, books are my ultimate escape. I generally gravitate towards business and personal development books. So for me: Company of One by Paul Jarvis . All about being small, avoiding growth yet building a sizable business. Contrary to most 'scale up at any costs' business books. Deep Work by Cal Newport . Best for avoiding the distractions of social media and staying on task. Cal is famous for never owning a social media account. Principles by Ray Dalio . Best for personal growth junkies to end the binge. It's a long read and none of the book summaries do this book any justice. There is also a highly-visual kids version. Of course there are many more, but these 3 not only resonated but challenged me to calm down. Now over to you: What books have had a profound impact in your life recently?

The Encouragement Service: When you need a lift, just ask! :-)
      General Discussion
A little (free) initiative we offer at the Parallel Movement is this: We are providing free encouragement to you! Ask and you will receive :-) If you are feeling like you need a little lift or boost, just send us a quick message and a response will come with encouragement and kind words. Consider it like this. Remember when there was that trend, "free hugs", on the street. Or remember that trend on Wall Street, when bankers and financiers could unload their anger and frustrations on to a person (for a tip). Well, we have a service like that. It is a free virtual hug for you! Instead of hugs, instead of yelling, we are going to send you some personal encouragement, words of hope, or kindness. You send: "Do I look fat in this?" We say: "Are you kidding? You look amazing!" The only thing you got to do is this: Write an email to here: parallelmovement@protonmail.com (this is a closed email address, monitored only by our professional encouragers). Subject line: "Need a Boost" And that's it. You can add more words, or just write "Need a Boost". The Lovely Parallel Movement team will send back some words of inspiration, encouragement or the like. For instance, Email: parallelmovement@protonmail.com Subject Line: "Need a Boost" Response: We hope you are doing amazing. You really are an absolutely awesome person, and we know that you are going to do amazing things today. That's because you are strong, kind and wise. Keep going" (All emails are confidential and your privacy respected). One point. Is if you are really struggling mentally, you should seek professional help. This is not a replacement or substitute for accredited advice. The intention is really to send more love and encouragement. And to be a resource for you!
